Triptych

2014

The tradition of a triptych comes from oil painting, where the main focal point of a painting is supported by two smaller panels on either side. This video is an attempt to modernise this idea by creating a flattened, linear triptych, consisting of one short video, followed by a longer video, followed again by a shorter video. Each panel represents a different perspective on the same theme of light, interconnectivity, and the effects of our presence on a space.
